Portishead to play first headline gig in ten years

Portishead will play a one-off hometown gig at the Bristol Academy on December 15.

The gig will be the first non-festival full band performance the band have played in ten years.

The show will follow an appearence from the band at the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in Minehead over the weekend beginning December 7, which they are curating.

To check ticket availability and get all the latest listings, go to NME.COM/GIGS now, or call 0871 230 1094.

Portishead's forthcoming new album will be released in April 2008.
